Mr WordPress on Hello world!
Here I go again, trying hard to figure this out, meaning….of course the “blog.” Seems that I just might have gotten it right. The photo was taken from my vessel last year when I was in “Cormorant Channel.” As I learn more about how to “blog” I shall continue to upload more and more photos.
And here we go!!! I’ve wanted to start a blog for some time now much like I’m sure everyone else in the world, so I did. Or I should say….my wife and I did. O.K….the truth is she is the one who knew how to set it up as Karen has her own Blog and she walked me through all the steps in how to set this one up. Really…..she did it all! You get the idea I’m sure. I’m lucky if I can even turn on this infernal machine some days.
So what’s with this “blog?” Well I hope that I’m going to be able to upload photo’s of the area which I take when I’m out on the water and comment on what they depict as well as talk a bit about the area. Don’t be shocked if I express a few opinions about subjects which I really don’t have all the facts too, and probably don’t know a heck of a lot about but some how or some way have formed an opinion on. Hmmmm!! Come to think of it …much like most of the Politicians I know.
By way of some background. I’m a retired “civil servant” of 36 Years and have been retired since April of 2011. My wife Karen a.k.a. “She Who Must Be Obeyed” and I own and operate a B&B on the Water here in Port McNeill B.C. called “At Waters Edge B&B.” I as well have a variety of “Marine Tickets” which means I can run a Commercial Vessel. I have been a “Water Taxi” Captain for near the past two years. My area of operation is the inside of Vancouver Island on the North End. Predominantly from Kelsy Bay North to Shasharty Bay/Cape Caution area, although I have not been as far North as Cape Caution yet. And really have no interest in going up there!!!! That’s way the hell out and gone!!
So I’m thinking that I can share my photos and some thoughts as we go along. So…many thanks for reading this far if you have, and if you havn’t…..well…
